Many of you have said that you have said that you would like to be able to add comments to articles and have more flexibility regarding how you can share in the groups and forums.
We have listened, and so we are adding a lot of additional features.
You can now comment on all articles and the forums and groups are easier to participate in.
If you registered on the original site you will need to reset your password- just enter your username and you’ll be sent a ‘reset password’ request.
So please, comment to your heart’s content! Create groups, invite your friends. Share the good times and ask for the support of like-minded women when needed!

I am SO glad I have found you. I just hit 50 a week ago and it still seems totally unbelievable! I was not quite ready for it!! Anyway, great to find a website that I can relate to and that does not relegate women at 50 to the knackers yard! I actually feel great and am more empowered now than I have ever been. I re-trained in my early 40′s to qualify as a Counsellor and Cognitive Hypnotherapist so I am running my private practice and working in a youth counselling agency and loving what I am doing. 50′s? Bring it on!! – Karen x
I am so happy to have found “FabAfterFifty” and feel sure it will inspire me. I hit 60 and am fairly happy with the way I look, time has been kind to me! However, I do feel I am at a crisis point with regard to the future. I left the NHS last year to start a new job as a PA but I am deeply unhappy and feel that time is running out. Is it too late, being almost 61, to do something different with my life?
I don’t think its EVER too late ! What is it about your job that you don’t enjoy? Is it the work itself or is it the company you work for? Do you want to change one aspect or both?
There are lots of women (just look at some of our featured ‘fabwomen’) who have reinvented their careers or other aspects of their lives after the age of 60. If its not realistic to walk away from your job and start afresh perhaps developing new interests outside of work will help.

I’ve just turned 50 and am delighted to say that life is improving year on year! I love the work I do, have great family and friends, and plenty of challenges to keep it interesting.
I’m a therapist and trainer, photographer, artist and author, specialising in practical well-being (overcoming asthma, phobias, lowe self-esteem, trauma etc). My focus is settling more and more into working with my fellow professionals in the well-being field, supporting, training, and mentoring, so they can keep making a difference in the world while nurturing themselves!
Keep up the great work Ceri! You’re a terrific role model.

I think the “Dresses with Long sleeves Challenge” is wonderful. I have missed some of them though, Is there a way of seeing them all in one place on your web site?
When I go shopping I am in and out of each shop so quickly as I scan the rails for stylish sleeves and there are so few in each shop that it doesnt take long to cover a whole shopping centre!
I have never liked blouses (I am a dress person)so it really is a hard task. Thank you for making it just that bit easier.
Does anyone do an online web site which picks out the latest dresses with sleeves in the high street and let you buy on line?

Where possible I have put links to retailers who sell online – they may not all be in stock now- especially the early ones. I will still update as and when I find any special ones. I wasn’t able to find any sites specialising in dresses with sleeves which had the styles I would by myself. The challenge started because wherever I went people kept asking me where I bought my dresses. I don’t have all 50 (unfortunately) but I do have a few of the dresses featured.

Hello, Just surfing around and came across your site. I particularly liked the advice on what to pack and how much for a holiday. As I’m going away for a month, I just doubled the amount that was suggested. I’ll need a mix of clothing too, as I’m visiting 3 countries with differing climates. Plus, approaching 58, I still want to look Fabafter50.
