As George Clooney turns 50, will this help show the world that 50 is not old? !!
There is no suggestion that George Clooney is past his sell by date or should be at home sitting in his rocking chair learning to knit! I doubt if he is made to feel invisible, or as an actor told he should consider putting his acting career on hold as he waits to grow into ‘character’ parts. Does he worry if he is dressed age appropriately when he leaves the house? Is he criticised for dating younger women? I doubt it.
Is it a question of double standards – 50 is 50 whether male or female. So let’s hope that the world will appreciate that 50 is not old, that George Clooney represents a generation of 50somethings who are in their prime and looking forward to celebrating the best half of their lives!

George was way better looking before he got into the orange tanner and big white teeth. He looks like George Hamilton.
