A life of ‘I wish I had’, or ‘I’m glad I did!’

Article by Ceri Wheeldon

It is often said that when looking back on life people regret more of those things they did not do than the things they did- even if mistakes were made.

How many of us look at past opportunities and think ‘if only’.

I wish I had…..

I wish I had travelled more

I wish I had spent more time with my family

I wish I had followed my instincts and set up that business

I wish had been more adventurous

I wish I had written that book I had always talked about writing

It’s never too late to follow your dream

The good news is that it’s never too late! Just meet some of the ‘fabwomen’ we have featured who have followed their dreams after the age of 50.

They have set up businesses over 50, climbed mountains over 50, written novels over 50, gone to university over 50.  All have been determined to celebrate the second half of life. They all have one thing in common. They’re glad they did!

We have the benefit of experience gained in 50 years of living on this planet, and potentially another 50 years to still follow our dreams.

So, a life of ‘I wish I had’ or ‘I’m glad I did’?

We would love to hear about your ‘I’m glad I did’ stories.  Could YOU be a featured ‘Fabwoman’?
