How to get the Red Carpet Look – at any age!
Tips from Ariane Poole Wow what an Award season, Glamour and Gorgeousness everywhere! From the Golden Globes to the BAFTA’S ending with the Oscars, celebrities were strutting the Redcarpet looking stunning. For the most part dresses were Metallic, Black or shades of Nude with the occasional pop of colour. Glasses can be a glamorous accessory and reading glasses are almost mandatory after 50! Spend time choosing the right shape and colour. As a general rule the shape of the frame should be in contrast to your face, eg don´t choose a round frame if you´ve got a round face! Frame colour should be determined primarily by skintone. If you have warm colouring, choose khaki, gold, tortoiseshell. Cool-toned complexions should opt for grey, plum, black. Now that you have chosen the right frame it’s time to look at how your glasses affect the way you put on your make-up and the type and textures you use. Article by Ariane Poole Now let me tell you how to look Sensational in 30 mins!!! Face: To give your complexion a smoother more radiant appearance by starting with a Retexturizing Face Primer. Apply after moisturizer. The Primer will also help your make-up last longer. Next apply a Mineral Tint Foundation. I love using a foundation brush to apply it because it gives you an air brushed look. Now use concealer to hide any imperfections. Illuminate your face with an illuminating pen in the colour of your choice. This is my magic wand. I use it to defuse fine lines and not so fine lines around the eyes, on the forehead and around the mouth. Instantly erases years. Best way to define eyebrows Eyes: Define your brows.
