Hi there,
I hope the creator of this forum will allow me to post this. My name is Laura Barton and I’m a features writer. I source, write and then sell real life feature articles to a huge range of women’s magazines including Grazia, Look, Marie Claire, Reveal, Cosmopolitan, More, etc, as well as all the national newspapers.
I was surprised to read how many of you feel ignored or invisible in society and I wanted to approach you all to ask if you have an interesting real life story and would like to feature in a magazine.
Perhaps you’ve lost ten stone, spent thousands of pounds on plastic surgery, been the victim of crime, have/had an unusual illness or condition, given birth or married against the odds, been betrayed by your partner or had an unusual wedding. Perhaps you have a weird phobia or occupation or hobbie…
….anything unusual, inspiring, shocking, dramatic, entertaining, interesting, or quirky
Most people have a story to tell but don’t even realise it! – you could earn between £300 and £1500!
Does anything spring to mind which you think might make a good starting point?
You will remain in complete control over how, where and when your story is told. We will even read the article back to you before it goes to print so you can take out anything you don’t like.
Please feel free to drop me an email at laura@medavia.co.uk or call me anytime on 07815 552 705 for an informal but confidential chat, and we’ll go through any ideas you have.

Ros here – what a great concept. I am 54 but feel 20 years younger [might not look it!].
I am a weight loss coach – helping people with their struggles around food and weight loss, but without the stress of dieting.
Based in Harrow Weald, I run groups, workshops and one-2-one sessions. Check out my website, would love to hear your feedback http://www.weightexpectations.com. -
