After that in April I entered a model search competition held at a local shopping centre over 260 men and women turned up to be photographed this was whittled down eventually to the final 19 who were then asked to do a live fashion show wearing clothes from the shopping centre. In her words she describes the portrayal of unrealistic images of women in the media as ‘Killing Us Softly’. Her thought provoking video is not to be missed. As real women over 50 we can walk tall, be strong and be fabulous!
  4. Pamela Stephenson and Mary Byrne- both Fab after Fifty!

    Comment
Article by Fabafterfifty  Great to see  two ‘ real’  women Pamela Stephenson ( 60)  and Mary Byrne ( 50)  both over 50  and both with curves dominating the weekends peak time viewing on Saturday evening, and showing their younger counterparts in two very different competitions that women over 50 can be sexy, talented and respected in their own right . Both are the leading the way in proving to the wider world that you don’t need to be under 30 or a size zero to be considered attractive, sexy or worthy of a place on our TV screens. How refreshing, and what a great step in the right direction ! What woman watching couldn’t have been buoyed on by Pamela’s Rumba on Strictly Come Dancing, or Mary’s rendition of ‘You Don’t have to Say you Love Me’ on the X Factor. Both have my votes on Saturday nights, and for...
