Bless you gentle reader, massive hugs and blessings to you and your family. Welcome to another Monday Moment of Calm from Fab after Fifty to remind you to breathe and savour life at a more leisurely and peaceful pace. Today’s Moment of Calm is a short inspirational poem to brighten your day. It forms the last of a 3-part miniseries looking at ways you can reduce stress and boost your energy during the day.
In Part One we looked at 3 easy exercises you can do at work to ease the build up of stress and tension in your body. In Part Two we suggested 5 everyday foods you could eat to help nourish and cleanse your body, to reduce the negative effect of stress on your digestive system And today’s Moment of Calm, Lost and Found, is a short poem offered to bring about a subtle shift of tranquillity to your heart.
As usual, feel free to share the love and peaceful vibes with friends and loved ones you who feel will benefit from more Moments of Calm in their life via Twitter or your fav social media site.
As you prepare to read today’s offering, I invite you to take a slow steady breath in through your nose and lower your shoulders as you gently exhale. Repeat 3-5 times and when ready read the poem Lost and Found with love and an open heart, taking time to remember how great, special and beautiful you are.
Lost and Found
“…I’ve found what I was looking for –
The peace of mind,
the calmness of spirit,
and the softness of heart in the quietness and joy of living.”
Closing Thoughts
Sometimes, all you need to regain your calm and centre, is a quiet hug and a few softly spoken words to remind you to breathe and take a moment to get of the hamster wheel of life. When you do, you find the quietness and joy inside which guides and leads you to greater sense of peace.
We hope you are enjoying your weekly Monday Moments of Calm and are always happy to read and share your moment of calm. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment box below. Thank you.
Take special care of you.
In peace
