Please can you give us just 2 minutes of your time!
Our health expert Anne Elliott has got together with colleagues at Middlesex University to work on this very important research question. Nearly 3/4 of all adults in Britain are overweight or obese and the number is growing.
Dieting is a common weight management tool for many people. There is a lot of existing research that looks at dieting from the scientific perspective but very little about what the end user thinks, the very people for whom effectiveness is paramount. So if you are female, aged between 45-65, we REALLY want to know your views. The questionnaire is very short (only 8 questions) and will take you a few minutes and all participants will be anonymous.
The research is independent and not associated with any private company. When completed, the authors will look to publish the results in an academic journal and an executive summary will be published on this site. We are looking for 1000 women to fill in this questionnaire to give its results weight, so to speak! So if you have a few minutes to spare, please tell us about your recent dieting experiences.     Even though I live in New Zealand I filled out this survey. My husband and I plus friends have been following the program “Diet Evolution” by Dr Steven Gundry which has helped all of us release weight and get our energy levels up. My slightly elevated Blood Pressure has reduced and I feel as though my memory has improved. I have dropped from size 14 to size 12 and love wearing skirts again after years of having a sticking out bum!
