Today’s post, Self-Love: 17 Daily Self-Love Affirmations To Love Yourself More offers you 17 extra special self-loving affirmations you can use to deepen your sense of self-love.

By the time you reach 50, most women have had their fair share of roller-coaster “love stories” and most wise women realise  searching outside of yourself for love and happiness is detrimental to your emotional wellbeing because you are giving your power away. And the way we roll over here on Fab-after-Fifty is to be powerful gentle-women!

What Are Affirmations?

Affirmations are a great way to encourage you to take a few minutes out of your day to tune in and wish yourself well. Affirmations are powerful words which when read, silently or aloud help to reconnect you to your inner being. Words have power and the energy behind the words, your intention is what, I believe make Affirmations so powerful.

The following 17 Self-Love Affirmations can be said first thing in the morning when you wake up or last thing at night before you go to bed. If one affirmation particularly resonates with your heart, then THATS your cue to spend more time focusing on the arising thoughts and repeat that affirmation several times during your day, particular if you feel low, tired and vulnerable.

Next Steps – Daily Action

We encourage you to take time, maybe set your morning alarm clock ten minutes earlier, do a few rounds of breathing exercises and then say the above 17 Self-Love Affirmations quietly to yourself.
