Keep The Faith, Inspirational Poem To Share With Loved Ones Going Through A Hard Time

Bless you dear Friends and welcome to today’s Moment of Calm, a quiet space online to allow you to take five minutes to rest, unwind, breathe and unplug for a few moments from the busyness of your world. Today’s post is a poem I wrote many moons ago, Keep The Faith, for a friend who was going through a rough patch.

I’d like to share “Keep The Faith” with you today because, sometimes although everything looks rosy on the outside, sometimes, on the inside you’re hurting and in pain and need a quiet shoulder to lean on and someone to softly whisper “how are you feeling…”  As wise women, we’ve all been there, had our fair share of life’s knocks, yet, through grace we are here, standing together, celebrating our successes and honouring each other.

So, if you know someone going through a hard time and needing a gentle hug, please hold them in your heart as you read “Keep The Faith”. Better still, forward them the poem to let them know you care and are thinking of them. Thank you.

Inspirational Poem – Keep The Faith

Sister, you have come so far,

Crossed many hurdles, raced over the bridge.

I recall, you standing on the edge looking over,

Yet, you didn’t fall. You didn’t cave in.

No. You took stock and walked over.

Walked through your pain, your hurts, sorrows and joys,

Touched the diamonds gleaming in your eyes.

So, Sis, why be low?

Why hide?

You’ve done it once. And you can do it again.

Have faith, keep the faith

Know that what is to be will be – we are not empowered to change that.

Sister, when your load is heavy and troubles wear you down.

Take strength.

You are not alone.

No, we are here, right beside you, holding your space and keeping you warm.

Reminding you to…

Let your breath ignite your soul.

Go with the flow

Stay with your soul

Fuel heaven’s desires and be the Queen you were born to be.

Closing Thoughts

We all need somebody to lean on. If someone you know is low and going through a worrying situation, take a moment out of your schedule and send them this poem to let them know you care and are there for them. Thank you.

And, as usual, may your heart be light as you walk softly on our Mother the Earth.

Namaste
