Morning prayer for health and vitality

Hello dear friends. Doesn’t time fly! We are always glad to see you here and thanks for taking your time to visit our fabulous site for women over 50. Today’s Moment of Calm post is a short Morning Prayer for Good Health and Vitality, which I hope you’ll read and use as a daily reminder to stay calm!

Early Morning Bliss – The Power of Prayer To Uplift Your Energy

Like most of you, I like to spend the first few minutes of each new day doing something which nurtures and nourishes my soul. Like you, I’ve learnt the secret to a “productive, creative and focused day” starts with taking time, on some kind of spiritually uplifting activity. Prayer and meditation are my chosen form of spiritual practice, closely followed by journaling. I like to meditate and after meditating, record arising thoughts and feelings in my journal. I love the clarity of thought and calmness of spirit which flows after meditating.

On Tuesday I had a particular “productive meditation” and felt so alive and grateful for my health and strength, that I was inspired to write the Morning Prayer for Good Health and Vitality.

The Gift Of Health

The older we get, the more you appreciate and acknowledge the gift of health and vitality.

In yoga you are taught in yoga “health is wealth” and that is so true.

If you have ever suffered poor health or low energy, then you know how challenging life becomes and how hard it can be to motivate yourself to get up and do anything. Everything takes double the amount of time and the longer you procrastinate, the harder it becomes to motivate yourself to do anything. That’s why I love spending time in the morning, focused on meditation, as it sets the tone for the rest of the day and reminds me I have a choice in how I wish to feel and how I choose to spend my time and energy.

If you are looking for a gentle, more loving way to start your day, prayer and meditation may be the answer.

Here is a short prayer, I wrote, which I encourage you to say quietly to yourself when you wake up. It will help ease your transition into a new day and support your desire to be healthy.

Morning Prayer for Good Health and Vitality

Thank you Divine Mother for the grace which flows through my soul

For the unlimited supply of beauty and full moon gratitude’s

For my divine inheritance, spiritual awakening and joyous moments of sun-kissed blessings of health and vitality

Thank you Heavenly Father for inner strength, courage, determination and fire in my belly to combat my lower tendencies of fear, greed, jealously, worries and doubt.

As the sun shines and moon waxes and wanes, may my heart stay open and mind dwell in the every lasting surrender of peace, unity and harmony.

And so it is
