I always like to find clothes that are a little different. I would hate to walk into a room and find someone wearing the same outfit. This is why I tend to look for lesser known brands- and shop in small boutiques rather than the large high street chains.

One of the brands I have come across recently is Isabi – they focus on ‘Intelligent Dressing’. I am now the proud owner of several pairs of harem trousers (which I have practically lived while working from home this summer) and a number of dresses – I have made some excellent purchases in their sale.

I have picked out a few of my favourite items to share with you.

Jasmine Long Sleeved Dress

This dress comes in both black and mink – I love the way the bodice is fitted yet the skirt drapes gently – it skims rather than swamps!

Zip Pocket Dress

I think this dress is fabulous for pear shapes. It has a stretch jersey top with a flattering sleeve length, and a flared skirt to skim over the hips. The zip detailing provides a contemporary twist. Harem Trousers

I have worn my harem trousers to death since buying my first pair a couple of months ago – I have since bought more in the sale (£18 at time of writing). They have deep pockets – great for carrying my phone around the house when busy doing other things. View product at Isabi

Pencil Skirt

An excellent wardrobe staple – this comes in both black and navy. Comfortable with a flattering fit and style. A fab buy at £30. View product at Isabi

Embellished jacket
