So here we are again, another in our video series about how to wear one very simple, sleeveless black dress in many different ways.
As you can see here, what I’ve done is I’ve taken that black dress (from Ceme London which is sleeveless. We’ve added some sleeves underneath, as you’ve seen in a previous video, But sometimes we don’t always want to wear our dresses dressed up for evening or special occasions. We want more versatility to get more wear out of the clothes we have and create a more casual look for the little black dress as well.
What I’ve done here is I’ve quite simply added a scarf. As you can see by the scarf I’ve selected , scarves don’t always have to be colourful and pretty or flowery. This one happens to be a faux suede one, which I bought in an Italian market. But you can just wrap it around. It instantly gives it more of a daytime look, ideal for dashing out to the shops on the weekend, lunch with friends at the pub, or whatever. You can either team that then with a pair of boots, or I’ve just put it here with a pair of animal print ( I have a passion for animal print! )shoes.
And if you really want to add another little stylish element for daytime then why not wear a hat? I think hats are great things to sort of dress up an outfit or just give it that little bit more of an individual look. So here I’ve added fake moleskin trilby type hat, again purchased in a market when on holiday just to give the outfit little bit of an edge.
So there again, one more idea of another way to wear that little sleeveless black shift dress that might be lurking in the back of your wardrobe, barely worn.
