The recent dresses with sleeves campaign was incredibly popular. And it seems it didn’t go unnoticed by some of the retailers of the dresses I featured.
One of my favourite dresses was by Ceme London- and it seems quite a number of Fabafterfifty readers agreed, as Ceme noticed many of you clicking through to buy from them.
As a result they have contacted me to offer FabAfterFifty readers a discount of 20% off their new collection ( with and without sleeves!). You just need to use the code FAF20 at the checkout.
I have been flipping through the Ceme website and I my own wishlist is quite long- although ironically my favourite is without sleeves this time!

We all want to look stylish and sophisticated over 50. We can still be colourful and add a bold colour to our summer wardrobe.
For Day 49 of the Dresses with Sleeves Challenge I have chosen a bright yellow shift dress with a cut out design. This is not a dress for anyone wanting to fade into the background!
This impeccably tailored dress features a round neckline, cut-out detail across the chest, panel detail at the waist and cutwork on the hem. It also has three-quarter length sleeves and a concealed back zip. Dramatic!

Putting on the glitz is great at any age, so why not a touch of sparkle to your wardrobe in your 50s.
For Day 48 of the Dresses with Sleeves Challenge I have selected a plain pale grey wrap effect dress with a touch of diamante around the neckline. This dress from Shubette is in jersey, has a zip fastening and three quarter length sleeves. With this dress you can sparkle inside and out!
Shubette Jersey Diamante Dress from House of Fraser £180
Totally understated elegance, a shift dress with sleeves can be very stylish option over 50.
For day 47 of the Dresses with Sleeves Challenge I have chosen a pale grey lace and embroidery dress by Karen Millen from House of Fraser. With ¾ length sleeves and a scalloped edge on hem and cuffs, this is an ideal dress for daytime special occasions.

Weddings and summer events such as race meetings offer great opportunities to wear something a little special and look stylish over 50 – with or without a hat!
For Day 46 of the Dresses with Sleeves Challenge I have to confess to cheating (sorry!) as I have chosen a pink dress with a bolero jacket by Sublette. This knee length dress mixes floral with plain to great effect. The jacket would also look great over a plain grey or black shift dress.
Pink Shubette Shantung dress and jacket from House of Fraser £320
I love rich colours and I’m a big fan of CeMe London dresses. Three quarter length sleeves can be particularly flattering as they usually draw the eye in at waist level. Exposing the wrists also creates opportunities for wearing bracelets and cuffs.
The dress for Day 45 of the Dresses with Sleeves Challenge is the Jenya purple v-backed dress in jersey. It’s fully self lined with a draping in all the right places to minimise midlife tums.
