I think that “mature” women need to be cautious if they are slim, just because something fits you it doesn’t mean you should buy it! I see lots of items in the shops that I love and would fit me BUT remind myself that that day has gone. Yes I agree, sometimes it’s difficult to know what suits. I am researching styles for myself. I have gone wider around the middle and find support bras uncomfortable. So I am trying to find dresses which flatter my shape. I filled in a shape style finder on m&s website which was quite good and Evans have a style person you can chat to on line. Jayne x

I worked in the ladies fashion industry for around 12 years and am still fascinated.
I think what works is having a wardrobe of basics that is your core and then editing each season and adiding up to the minute seasonal pieces . Deepening on budget this could be anything as simple as a pair of earrings , a scarf .t shirt or it could be numerous…[Read more] -
